 Vanilla & Chocolate Ice Cream

Ingredients:

For Condensed Milk

  • Milk (2 cups)
  • Sugar (1 cup)
  • Corn Flour (2 Tb. spoon)
  • Dry Milk (2 Tb. spoon)

For Ice Cream

  • Chilled Whipping Cream (400 ml)
  • Coco Powder (half cup)
  • Vanilla Essence ( half teaspoon)

Method:

Preparation of Condensed Milk

  • Pour milk in a pan and boil it. Add sugar in the milk and stir until it dissolves properly. 
  • Mix well Dry Milk and Corn Flour before adding them in milk. After mixing both the ingredients, start adding them in sweetened milk. Keep stirring while adding them in the milk. Cook it until the milk gets half (means 1 cup). It will be thicker and it's color will also be yellowish like canned Condensed Milk available in markets.

Preparation for Ice Cream

  • Take out the cream from the packets in an open bowl.
  • Beat your chilled Whipped Cream well until it raises and gets fluffy.

Tip: Keep your cream bowl in another bowl full of iced water to get the better result, especially in Summers.

  • Add your prepared Condensed Milk in Whipped Cream and beat again.

Tip: Don't add the whole one cup condensed milk at once in the cream, add it gradually and keep tasting the cream. Add the amount of condensed milk as you want to make your ice cream sweet.

  • Take out half of the cream in another bowl, add Vanilla essence in it.
  • Add Coco Powder in the remaining half whipped cream. 
  • Now make a layer  of Chocolate Whipped Cream in an air tight container (which will be kept in freezer for freezing the ice cream), then make another layer with vanilla cream. Take a spoon and move it gently in both the creams in circular motion so that both the flavors mix. But don't mix them completely, just make a pattern.
  • Garnish it with crushed dark chocolate (or with any chocolate available)
  • Put the lid of the container and keep it in the freezer for 8-10 hours to get the better result. 
  • After 8-10 hours, take out the container from the freezer and scoop out your home made ice cream in Ice cream bowls and serve chilled.
